With an eye for design
In the heart of Lund is Lund's design hotel Lundia which has deliberately chosen furniture, interior decor and paintings with a particular style. Jonas Lloyd and his team of architects have drawn much of the interior. In the rooms and corridors, you also come across a number of leading 20th century designers, such as Alvar Aalto, Philippe Starck and Bruno Mathsson.
In Lund, you can also stay in luxury at the First Hotel Planetstaden, a stylish four-star hotel with comfortable places to relax on the terrace, by the fireplace and in the Jacuzzi. All deluxe rooms have their own sauna or spa bath.
Hotel Duxiana is a four-star design hotel in the heart of Malmö, where guests stay in one of the 22 individually furnished rooms and sleep like royalty in world-famous Dux beds. The atmosphere is punctuated by architectural details, comfortable furniture by Dux and classic Scandinavian designs.
Karlaby Kro - the perfect place for a getaway. The rooms are generous in size, cosily decorated and in the restaurant….
Do not miss…
…the Coffee Roastery in Österlen. This is the chic Mötesplats Österlen following change of ownership, name and concept. Peter Ljungquist, who helped to start Olof Viktors once upon a time, shares his experience from Peter's Yard and its Coffee House in Edinburgh. Along with the knowledgeable Coffee Collective in Denmark, the plans were realised in early spring. The roastery will open for visitors for one hour every day. Besides the roastery, there will also be a summer hotel with bistro restaurant and a new building decorated by Nirvan Richter, Norrgavel, tailored for discussions, meetings and conferences.
